I honestly cannot stomach the picture, but I do have some questions. Is 
this meant to be full screen? Will the harsh sky blue background be 
replacable with an arbitrary picture or anything else that can be put 
on the desktop with KWin?

Please also describe the design elements that make this different than 
the current kdm as it look much the same.

Also, will this be one of many options or will it be the only option.

This discussion maybe should goto kde-artists until the look is 
finalized?
