Hi,

I'd like to share some thoughts about the LD_BIND_NOW/XRender interaction 
several people were seeing.

It seems there's a dependency to whether you have X compiled against a 
libfreetype already installed on the system or against the version that comes 
with the X source distribution.

So I'd like to know whether people experiencing the problem of XRender not 
working with LD_BIND_NOW=true have:

a) X compiled from source using libfreetype supplied with X
b) X compiled from source using a system-wide installed libfreetype
c) Vendor supplied X, X-freetype
d) Vendor supplied X, system-freetype

please reply directly to not clutter the list.
