Note that such change in the source code activates another bug in
TrollTech's moc of Qt2.

I said this because the same problem is in kdevelop
(kdevelop/widgets/qextmdi/include/qextmdimainfrm.h)

You can only decide between:
   to be source-compatible for KDE2 and KDE3 with the disadvantage of
not compilable on IRIX
or
   to let it compile on IRIX but to get Qt linker errors when trying to
build the Qt2 version.

I don't see a solution.
