Hello,

configure didn't run on my HP-UX box either.
Please check what per version you've installed(perl -version).
If it's possible for you, grade up your perl version to 5.6.1, if not use
the --disable-fast-perl flag when starting configure.

Holger

I have access to a few HP machines.. As responsible for the "non-official"
installation of KDE on my university, I have access to linux, solaris
(including a 24cpu sun-blade ;-), HP-UX and OSF/1 machines. So far Qt 2.3
compiles on all of them, but kdebase and kdelibs compiles only on solaris
and
linux, and kdelibs minus arts compiles on alpha. Kdelibs 2.2.2 doesnt even
configure on the hpux's.
I will go and test KDE3 one of the days (proberbly several, it takes forever

to compile anything). Once it get the cvs-access from coolo I can even
commit
all the small build-fixes (my experience with solaris tells me _a lot_ of
small stuff is broken but rarely anything really interesting)

Okey, I guess that means I have the right to bug you ;-)
