If the user doesn't see a connection between processes. E.g. imagine he has a 
konsole open and from the shell, he started some application. If he sees that 
the cd is accessed by "bash" (because its cwd is on the cd) and kills it, he 
can loose unsaved data in the app. So if such a button were present, at least 
there had to be a warning like: "Kill a process only if you REALLY know what 
you are doing. If not, data loss could occur or your system might become 
unstable", which just sounds too much like windows...
