Ahh, I see some changes in CVS, will try it later... ;-)

We made some test via a telephone:
with no optins in XF86Config-4 keyboard section and KDE3 -> itouch,Germany:
Standard German Windows keyboard, I see the special keys in xev, no reaction
in KDE key chooser
with itouch option in XF86Config-4 keyboard section and KDE3 ->
itouch,Germany:
keyboard layout brocken.

So, cause a Cherry RS13000 is not a Logitech iTouch we should forget this,
maybe I can make a working Xmodmap for this keyboard, when I visit my friend.

Two questions for KDEs keyboard expert ;-)

1. I have a 5-key-mouse+wheel, I use mousemap to map the two extra keys (5,4
for wheel, so I'm talking of 6,7) to X11 key names.
This works so far, I can set these e.g. to F20,F19 and assign these keys to
KDE actions, but now I want to assign the mouse-key to Ctrl+C, but I don't
know how. Is it possible to have two X11 keys (Ctrl+C or F20) for one action
(copy)?

2. I have problems in Konsole running the editor jed. In KDE3 some
control-combinations do not work: Ctrl+s (Search), Ctrl+xs+xc (Hold Control,
press first "x", "s" then "x", "c" now release "Ctrl" for "save & exit") This
works in KDE2, in KDE3 the last combination does not work and produces a "^X"
in my text.

Have Fun!
