You will have to be a bit more specific because this isn't really helping. 
Something like "I have configured a red blinking cursor in KDE2 and when I 
upgrade to KDE3 it becomes a black cursor". That is something that can (and 
should) be fixed. "kde3 pretty much fubars the configurations" is not 
bringing us anywhere.
