I think that this would be a bad idea. David pointed out some arguments 
already, but I'd like to throw in another one: The User Interface should 
always act as expected and it should not suprise the user. If a window 
suddenly disappears I will certainly be very suprised, even if there is a 
logical explanation for it. Some  might even think "It crashed!".
