Subject:    KDevelop configure problem with optimization

I'm currently using KDevelop 2.0.1.

At one point, I turned the optimization from 'off' to O2, did a
reconfigure
and remake and everything compiled fine.

I then changed the optimization back to 'off', did a reconfigure but
the O2 setting persists through all the autoconf/configure cycles.

Does anyone know what must be done to change this setting back to off
(ie -O0)?
