I'm not playing the CD with a cdwriter, it's a normal IDE cd-drive.

But, now that you're saying that, you're maybe right to say that it's
a problem with Disk-At-Once burned CD's. I remember now that I burned
once a CD with Track-At-Once mode, and had no problem with kscd. Then
I tried to burn a CD with Disk-At-Once, and the problems with kscd
started.
