A: and B: really wasn't a good choice :) but when KFloppy was developed, many 
win32 useres switched to linux, so i thing the author wanted to make them 
that step easier :)
the interface is also very win32-like. my aim is to make a new ui for kfloppy 
and add some new features...and...if there are any special feature requests, 
please let me know.
