I think the html colours should be independent of the system colors. Try 
setting your desktop to "Dark Blue" (which I prefer over the eye-straining 
brighter colour schemes) and then view Kernel Traffic. Looks like sh*t. ;). 
The problem seems to be that links get a pink-ish colour. I want to be able 
to set my desktop to whatever colour I like without changing the appearance 
of web pages.
