I am trying to use the Kaboodle part in my app but when I start the app it 
crashes and gives the following error:

kdecore (KLibLoader): library libkaboodlepart.la not found under 'module' but 
under 'lib'
mdcontroller: dispatcher.cc:432: static class Arts::Dispatcher * 
Arts::Dispatcher::the(): Assertion `_instance' failed.

I am using the following code to load the part:
KLibFactory *factory = KLibLoader::self()->factory( "libkaboodlepart" );
   if (factory)
   {
     // Create the part
     m_kbpart = (KParts::ReadOnlyPart *)factory->create( this, 
"kaboodlepart", "KParts::ReadOnlyPart" );
   }

Is there something that I am missing?
