Perhaps there should be an addition to KDE libs to support getting network 
interface information, since the way you normally collect it varies between 
different *nixes.  It would be nice to have a function that returns a 
QStringList of interface names ("eth0", "ppp0", etc) and then another 
function to request information about them.
