greetings, folks!

i'm hoping to take a look at kde3, but i'm hitting a little snag -- 
qt-copy from the head branch blows up while trying to build gmake. 
it's nothing that i have found referenced in the list archives, and 
the qt-copy docs don't mention anything much unusual in building this 
qt over the others, except of course the different set of configure 
options. so . . .

in that there *does* seem to be something different -- never had the 
slightest problem with qt-2.x or qt-2-based qt-copy -- i'm wondering 
if there's some documentation someplace that will resolve my quandry 
(well, insofar as documentation can undertake that herculean 
task<g>). pointer much appreciated. thanks.
