and so much has changed!  Everything looks great, although my build is a 
tad sluggish from the gobs of debug output I'm getting.  :-)

Anyway, i started fresh, and i noticed a couple of problems.

startkde was not installed for some reason.  I had to manually install it.

I had to modify qt-copy so that QChar::networkOrder() would actually 
work.  It is a QT_NO_COMPAT problem, i think.

There was another problem with having QList instead of QPtrList in one 
of the kjava files in khtml.  I fixed this in cvs.
