Hi,

I've experienced a considerable slowdown on konqueror when I have over 100 
animated candles on a single webpage.  

This webpage has 100 animated candle gif:
http://www.mslinux.com/peace/candle4.php

This webpage doesn't have animated candle gif:
http://www.mslinux.com/peace/candle.php

You can see and feel the dramatic difference.
