No, as this is still pretty long term, Simon Edwars plans to add PyQt
and PyKDE to kdebindings HEAD IIUC, so we're talking about KDE 3.3 or
4.0.  I will contact him in due time.

Yeah, that's why I said "if".

True, but repackaging something is not often a good idea.

Yes, but I know two DD's who package KDE related packages, and who may
be willing to sponsor a package for me from time to time.  I'm not
sure if they are subscribed to the kde-debian list.

Indeed.  IMHO, the above benefits only hold if certain conditions are
fulfilled ( repackaging something, not being able to get a sponsor,
wanting to do testing etc ), and I would indeed like to upload to the
kalyxo server if any of these conditions are fulfilled, but otherwise,
I think it's more useful to upload to Debian directly, because that
gives more testers to the package, and more people can benefit from
it.

Yeah, the NM process takes way too long imho, but I'm affraid this is
one of those debian things that are difficult to change...
