		stgeorges_masked = stgeorges;
		stgeorges_masked.setMask (stgeorges_masked); 
Should be:
		stgeorges_masked = stgeorges;
		stgeorges_masked.setMask (stgeorges_mask);
So the flag looks right. This also tests the non-self mask case.
