gcc 3.3.1

gcc-2 2.95.3-10 that I downloaded from here
http://kde-cygwin.sf.net/snapshots/gcc2-2.95.3-10.tar.bz2

ld 2.14.90 that I downloaded from here
http://kde-cygwin.sf.net/snapshots/binutils-ld-update-20031205.tar.bz2

In the qmake generated Makefile I changed the following lines
CC = gcc
CXX = g++
LINK = g++

to
CC = gcc-2
CXX = g++-2
LINK = g++-2

but that didn't help. Same linking problem.
