Do you have build against the kde-cygwin cvs branch  QT_WIN32_3_BRANCH, which 
is the recent branch ? It would be nice to get the changes as diff files, so 
that we can apply this to the kde-cygwin cvs. 

enter your qt source root 

cvs diff -ubB >../qt_win32_vc.patch
