  One thing make kde a little problem on a notebook, it dried battery out
quickly. From task manager, I can see that kdeinit.exe took a lot of cpu
time, even when nothing in kde is active.

  Is this a limitation of porting kde to windows or it is just a bug?

  One kdeinit process is kded, for which we have seen such behavior. Please
try killing the related process and look at the bash shell, on which you
have started kde for informations, if the killed process is kded or
something else.
