It's come to my attention that, even with a plugin system that allows
literally everything to be changed, I still can't please anyone.

You can't expect me to implement features I don't want, especially when I'm
doing this because I, erhm like coding.

There's people complaining that the Equalizer window doesn't suit there
needs, and are bitching about me changing it. Here's a few facts:
	a) I like the effects dialog just the way it is, why should I change it?
	b) I don't see anyone even suggesting that they'll offer to improve it.
	c) They can write their own custom one in a plugin

Then there's people complaining that noatun is slow, tends to crash a lot,
yadda yadda yadda. This goes to developers too.

Stefan Schimanski (who maintained Kaiman before it was swallowed by noatun,
including the actual chewing process) said that it was a very bad idea to
write anything with such a hugely untested library; and I see what he means.
I don't mean to offend Stefan here, because he's easily the only one that has
ever showed help and code to me. But Noatun is currently the only actual
test of 90% of the noatun features right now, and he's only one man.

Now I have people complaining that I answer wishlists items with a "send a
patch." Yes, I do, because those wishlists items are features I don't want.
Why should I have to implement it then?

Give me one reason why any other person should give a damn about this anyway.
Otherwise, I want to see another maintainer for noatun, or it removed from
cvs.

With love,

-Charles
