Off the top of my head:
- New plugin architecture
- API Support for databases (Postgres, MySQL, ODBC, Oracle)
- Real i18n support (e.g. support for mixing 2 charsets, support for

Fortunately not - except for the styles and moc internals, the API hasn't
changed much. A little perl (or shell + sed) magic can do most of the
porting job.
