Does that mean that in the mean time CVS is open for Qt 2.x compatible commits or that HEAD == KDE_2_2_BRANCH ? If HEAD is closed for non-bugfix commits I'd say we should move to Qt 3 directly after 2.2.0, because then it doesn't make sense to have no HEAD branch for feature commits. OTOH, we don't want to port an unstable KDE to Qt3, because that makes it harder to find out whether problems are caused by Qt3, the porting, or buggy KDE code. Hmm... having a closed CVS for a month longer is bad, but having to port unstable code could even be worse. I think an immediate port after 2.2.0 sounds better, but this is all of course just my 3 cents (inflation correction ;-). Another, unrelated question: I asked before whether we should have a wishlist for KDE 3 somewhere, but got no definitive response. Especially for people who want certain functionality, but can't code it themselves, or at least not completely, it might make sense to mention the ideas we all agree on on a list. Whoever has the time and knowledge can then implement those items. Martijn
