How would you specify which applet to remove ?

If it's an unique applet, you could just give the desktop file, but
even an unique applet may exist more than once - think child panels.
Perhaps that's just a misfeature.

I'm more comfortable with the idea of applets having their own DCOP
interface and asking them to remove themselves.
