Apart from the yucky name, I like the idea. A start may be to redesign the 
ftp-server a bit so that we can have a team of people who actualy "maintain" 
the stuff there. (E.g. the time between uploading something to Incoming and 
having it available from its final destination is much too long.) If we can 
get a slightly more accurate labeleling like "works with KDE x.y" of the 
applications there, that would already be a huge improvement.
