Excellent! There's apps that would like to rely on abbrowser but that have
troubles now because abbrowser is not-necessarily-included.

Well what's in a name? In any case if the name change implies a change in
the DCOPObject name I'd like to hear about it, since KPilot does a lot of
DCOP with abbrowser in an effort to sync the Palm Pilot address book w/
the KDE address book. [why not use the kab backend, you ask? I dunno]

Most likely. You might want to discuss some of this w/ Greg Stern (he's
posted to kde-devel a few times) -- he's delved fairly deep into the
abbrowser code to do the KPilot sync stuff and he has fairly clear ideas
on what things should be added to make abbrowser truly useful.
