Hiya,

KProcIO has been moved from kspell to kdecore.

Who needs KProcIO?
================

If your application starts another program to do some text processing of some
sort, KProcIO is the preffered class to use. As many people have discovered
KProcess is rather difficult to use when you need to send/receive data to and
from the process. KProcIO makes that much easier giving you access to easy to
use functions like fputs(const QString &) and fgets(QString &).

Originally designed for KSpell by David Sweet <dsweet@kde.org>, it has now
been moved to kdecore so that you can use it for other things as well. A good
candidate might be KMail's GPG/PGP signing.

Cheers,
Waldo
