Actually, I haven't been able to test but now that I think about it this 
should be okay for now. I can't think of any image viewers that would 
actually create and map a new window when a new image is loaded. They should 
just resize the existing image viewer window (which wouldn't trigger the 
maximize behavior). It *may* be a problem if they start the viewer with an 
image that is larger than the desktop size tho. Then it will create a window 
the size of the root window.
