I doubt that delaying the release for 1-2 weeks will significantly improve 
stability. Bug fixes too often introduce new bugs.

Given that those 5 days are reserved for show stopper fixes (+icons, docu, 
i18n) and _nothing_ else IMHO this makes sense.
