Which is funny, since Apache has such a high market-share.  And, well,
Apache supports digest auth right out of the box.  This and Jigsaw were
what I tested against.

The digest module for the smtp ioslave should work with Cyrus SASL (e.g. 
postfix, uw-imap, sendmail, and any other consumer of Cyrus's SASL lib).

I still don't like it.  I still don't think it's that advanced.  Blah.  
Time for a kerberos module.. or some sort of dsa public key auth module.
