Hiya,

The new kgreeter in xdmcp.c explicitly uses res_gethostbyname on Solaris 
instead of gethostbyname. However that doesn't work without linking to 
-lresolve. That's the same problem that we currently have in 
kdecore/ksock.cpp which tries to use res_init.

How to proceed?
