Before it's setup?

I know openssh is included with the base distribs of both FreeBSD and
OpenBSD, and as such is setup in a useable (perhaps not ideal) manner out
of the box.  I imagine that Linux couldn't possibly be that far behind (I
would think that RH, for instance, would provide it as a package that you
could install with the rest of th OS).  IMO for any sane network admin,
there should be no time where ssh isn't available while the box is
remotely accessable.

For debugging netcat has completely depreciated telnet.

P.S. When did kde-core-devel become moderated?
