I talked with David about shipping KDevelop 1.3 ported to KDE 2.0 with
the beta as a beta version as well. John Birch has already done the port
and several of you have tested it. It will be in CVS during the next
days or the beginning of next week and it only needs some work finishing
up the port; generally it=B4s working like 1.3 already; we=B4ll only have=
 to
think about calling it 1.4 (to make the difference clear from 1.3 which
is for KDE 1.x) or 2.0 and calling the current HEAD version 3.0 next
year.

Any objections ? There are no modifications on the features any more,
just porting issues to be done which I think will be finished by =

christmas.

Ah, and Matthias: just a reminder, there=B4s still that nasty KMenuBar bu=
g
that causes wrong placement of the menus when using QWorkspace and
maximising childwindows when not using Qt built-in styles ;)
