Hi,

I've commited the support for icons alpha blending in CVS.
You can see a small example of the result here:

If you want to test it, go and edit manually your
$KDEHOME/share/config/kdeglobals file and add a
alphaBlending=true
entry to the [General] section.

Btw, the changes are binary incompatible with respect
to HEAD, but not with respecto to 2.0
