These last two are actually ones I think should be user-configurable.  By
notification I mean DSN (Delivery Status Notification), i.e. if a
so-equipped ESMTP server supports it you can ask the server to notify you
or not on successful delivery, on errors, and you can tell it to send the
whole message back on error, or just the headers, etc.  Perhaps not great
for a beginning user, but it would be neat to have an option like this for
advanced users...

And 8bit mime... well, that should be an option to try for it, as I would
imagine there's got to be a few MUAs out there that wouldn't support it
properly.
