Well this is meant nicely:

If I were you I'd try to fix the RPMs for RedHat 7.0 *as soon as possible*,
test them very well and put them up with an idiot-proof README 
on ftp.kde.org -- also you should put up a version for Redhat 6.2. 
Because judging from a look at some discussion-boards
there are a *lot* of people having trouble with the installation on their 
RH 7.0 and many people appear on IRC (#kde/#kde-users)
who end up with one question: If they should install Debian or Mandrake
next ... I don't want to know how many people there are who get the idea 
that their problems are RPM-related and get the impression
that KDE2 sux ...
