I'm using the following schedule for my self, I hope it's not too far off 
from reality (and realistic wrt translations):

20 nov release of kde 2.0.1
20 nov freeze of kde 2.1 (no new translations, bugfix only, all patches must 
be reviewed) 
18 dec release of kde 2.1
