Actually, there is one solution that is much easier.

If we define TWO services, one for "KWrite as the application" and one for "KWrite as the component",
then they can have a different preference number, and everything's fine.

Problem is: the component will have to be in ${prefix}/share/services, and currently
there's no way to add a component from there to the list of embeddable services......
Well, that's probably something to do quick :-)
