Is qDebug supposed to be turned off by NDEBUG ?

Apparently not.

In this case,
* please don't use qDebug in any application (use kdDebug instead)
* I'll add #ifndef NDEBUG around the qDebug calls in dcop/*, since those can't use kdDebug.
