Yup, the "KDE2 1.0" was a quick suggestion of mine on irc.
So I am the idiot everyone is looking for ;-)

I withdraw this suggestion, convinced by many arguments given in this thread.

AAMOF, the current stuff is much more stable and complete than I thought KDE 
2.0 would be, given the recent improvements ;-)
