   Maybe could this be made configurable (at risk of creating a paradox...
<grin>)?  It would be nice to be able to use flat text if ldap or a database
(dbm, sql, whatever) are not available.  LDAP or a database have many
advantages over flat text though.  It could be implemented by dynamically
loaded libraries(plugins) of some sort I think?
