Actually, it did as I wrote the code.

That's wrong. By default Netscape does no wordwrapping, only IE does. 
However there is a non-standard attribute "wrap" in the <textarea> tag. 
It is semi-supported by khtml up to now. Unfortunately some sites 
use "virtual" and others use "hard" (IIRC). I always wanted to finish
the support for it (now you remembered me ;) ). 

If you tell me a website where it doesn't work I will fix it.
