OK, that's a very important point. That makes moving kwrite into a
separate module a nono :-)
The other option would be to directly link from kdebase/kwrite? This way
only the kdevelop hackers would have to re-checkout >;-)
(BTW, Ralf, are you subscribed to kde-core-devel?)
