Ok, did you realize that KMail supports message threading now?

His algorithm does look different from the one in KMail, more complicated. No
one has complained about KMails message threading yet so I expect it's not too
bad, it works fine for me. 

I don't use it for all my folders, only for email discussion lists, but I do
miss it when I'm away from my KDE2 install at home (like right now).

The KMail code for threading is only a 100 lines of code in kmheaders.cpp. The
algorithm is optimized but not the implementation.
