Hi,

I just tried to make myself a bit more familiar with ARTS, and
the only thing I got were segfaults of the artsd. I then asked
around a bit, and I was told that there is secret that is
handed down from generation to generation by the spoken word,
that you need

ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/jurix/source/X11/gnome/libaudiofile-0.1.5.tar.bz2

in order to run artsd. (Well, it runs without, but segfaults
as soon as you ask it to play some wav files).

I therefore suggest to add this lib to kdesupport. Any
objections?

From the KDE 2.0 meeting, I know that ARTs will be one of the
killer features of KDE 2.0, if it works.
