As much as I hate seeing sites that do this sort of browser-detection inside of the Webserver that then feed you customized content because its a direct violation of the HTTP spec, there are tons of them out there. And, their server should be sending a "Content-type" for redirection messages either as its completely unneeded. Think its going to be a case of having to facilitate some fudginess around the HTTP spec in order to deal with servers (or server-side apps) that don't adhere to the spec themselves.
