Sounds true enough, but the server's response still differs depending
on what you put in the User-Agent field.  

Try for example sending this:

GET / HTTP/1.0
Connection: close
User-Agent: Konqueror 1.1.2
Accept-Charset: utf-8, us-ascii;q=0.99, iso-8859-1;q=0.98
Host: www.granroth.org

Then try sending this:

GET / HTTP/1.0
Connection: close
User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; Konqueror 1.1.2; NetBSD 1.4.1)
Accept-Charset: utf-8, us-ascii;q=0.99, iso-8859-1;q=0.98
Host: www.granroth.org
