Goddamnit, I finally came to the conclusion that among other things (and
other classes), gcc is optimizing out the KBgndDialog class from
konqueror, which really isn't a big deal at all, unless one realizes that
the iconview library needs this class.  Including ../konq_bgnddlg.cc in
konq_iconview fixes this problem, but this isn't a real solution.
Creating a dummy KonqBgndDialog object after app.exec() in konq_main also
"fixes" this.  But this seems to me to be some sort of gcc bug.  Is anyone
else using gcc 2.95.2 and/or binutils 2.9.1?

And yes, I've actually hardcoded export-dynamic in ld, and no, no change.
